Pastor Goke is the author of “Tithing and The New Testament Church”. His focus in ministry is Prayer, Discipleship through the word of God and Leadership.
He is an auditor by profession, a Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He holds an MSA in Information Resource Management. He grew up in a Christian background, and later joined The Redeemed Christian Church of God where he served in various capacities for twenty-one years and was ordained as a minister in 2010. He received the call upon his life and eventually started the ministry in 2017. He is a graduate of Master of Theological Studies in the School of Divinity at Regent University.
He got born again in 1988 in a town called Eruwa in Oyo state, Nigeria, after seeing the healing power of God at work, but backslide in 1989. With persuasion of Kemi, his fiancée at the time, he rededicated his life on February 5, 1995 at the Nigerian Christian Corpers’ Fellowship in Sokoto, Sokoto State, Nigeria. He has been involved in ministry for three decades.
A man of prayer and the word, he has a passion for holiness and a desire to please God in all. He holds firmly the word of the Lord Jesus in Matt 6:33 and that of John the apostle in 1John 2:15-17. His quest for undiluted truth in the word of God and a desire to share such understanding with those who desire to learn has been his motivation.
Goke enjoys reading, playing the keyboard and singing.
Pastor Goke is married to Kemi Awodele and blessed with three children.
Pastor Kemi Awodele is a Co-Pastor with her husband Pastor Goke. She holds a B.Sc. in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University. She is an Educator, focused on molding the younger generation. She also holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential for Family Child Care Setting. She is passionate about children and having positive impact on them. She loves teaching children because it allows her to give them an experience of someone who understands them and accepts them with patience for who they are.
She is an exemplary leader who is deeply passionate about God, the Christian Family and Charities. She is a dedicated wife to Goke and mother to their three children. Kemi has served in the ministry for all her life and a strong influence in the spiritual transformation of her husband, until the Lord stirred them to plant the church in April 2017.
Minister Funke Akinbode is serving as the Worship Leader at the ministry of the Prayer and the Word. She was radically saved at age 13 years and never looked back. She is a mother to a lovely daughter. Funke has served in the music ministry from her youth. Her passion is to connect the heart of God’s people through powerful and sincere worship.
